Kathryn is sponsored by Pinkham Equine, a 3 vet equine practice located on the Hampshire/Wiltshire border in Whitsbury, near Fordingbridge.
The practice provides an all-round service, with a special focus on managing the competition horse, including lameness and poor performance investigation, and pre-purchase examinations. Our equipment is fully portable and we are able to carry out full lameness work-ups, including ultrasonography and radiography, and perform routine treatments such as shockwave or joint medication on the yard. The practice also provides extensive reproduction and stud services, and has a fully equipped in-house laboratory permitting the swift running of any diagnostic tests such as blood tests or tracheal washes thus enabling the establishment of swift and effective treatment. The primary vet for Homeland Farm is Richard Bristow but from time to time you may also see Charlie Pinkham or Lucy Brock. All of us have over 10 years of experience and are happy to look at any problem/condition. Richard has an extensive background in general equine practice with a particular interest in lameness and poor performance investigation. Pinkham Equine offer a free visit to Homeland Farm every Monday (or the following Tuesday on Bank Holidays) – to book in please contact the office on 01722 515309 or Rich on 07736 930563, including at weekends. To find out more about the practice please visit the website at www.pinkhamequine.com |
